Wel, heres where you can say some sentimental thing about all the people who died in WWII. No rascist comments. Do not say Germany, say Nazi Party.

People died in Desert Storm?!?

I love Rememberance Day. It is by far the second most Canadian of holidays, right after Canadian Thanksgiving.

Yup. Not as many as the one we're going through now but people did. Sucks that with so few my cousin was one of them. But I still got photos and a few memories.

Remembrance Day is for remembering everyone who died in the name of peace. Not just WWI and II, although those are the biggest events attributed to it.

Which is odd, because the Civil War had more losses I believe.

55 million people died as a result of WWII alone. Are you sure?

yeah, more people died in WW1 due to the lack of technology...Tanks were easy to beat (climb in and take the guys out), the trenches were easy targets *after getting through no-mans land though* , and disease could easily take a soldier before war did.

anyways, yep, today is for remember soldiers who died in ALL wars (even the civil ones).

and avi8r....you are a f*cking retard.

Your probably remembering wrong, but the civil war did have more American casualties, mainly because everyone was American. Maybe thats what you were thinking.
