I'm sure the dead veterans would just love what they were fighting in being compared to a porno, lol.

we're also talking about a different era. Keep that in mind.
You have to imagine the mindset of the germans at this time. The German soldiers were only pawns in this position. And the SS was created from an arian race. The seperation is hard for people to distinguish sometimes.

But does this argument ever grow old? I mean...wow. reason for the season I suppose.

If you think we're arrogant, I'll admit, the country as a whole is. However, just because your country doesn't throw themselves out there doesn't give you the right to say that we don't care about everyone else. We just have more people in the fight.

Aside from that, don't get into WWII and go blaming EVERYTHING on the Nazis. Look at Japan. They were just as bad. They killed many Chinese, Koreans, Americans... tons of people in their respective area. Does history ever focus on that? Of course not. The countries and races the Japanese killed don't cry every waking moment about how they were tortured and murdered in WWII. Many of them, if not all, have moved on. However, there are still several bitter Jews (no offense to those who are Jews here) that constantly cry about the Holocaust and are still getting reparations. What the hell? It's over. Done. Finished. If you have to moan to get publicity and try to make people feel guilty, you have a sad life. Yeah, I feel bad about the Holocaust, but to keep pressing the issue and making it the main focus in WWII is beyond me and ridiculous.

Now... to the real topic. May those who died in war rest in peace.

Yeah, that´s true! But can you say otherwise about: American die cause they like to pick a profitable fight, ythey like to destroy the planet and stick their nose everywhere!

Belive me, I´m sorry to say that cause I really wanted such a developed country to help the whole world to survive and avoid wars between the people of the world. But that´s not what I´ve been seeing.

Again, I´m sorry if I was too rude.

o_o...."Banned member: Yes"...PWNED

Anyway...I see no one involved in WWII evil...no one. I dont really judge intentions. Regardless of your intentions, if you can complete them without failure, I can respect that. For the most part, people who are considered as "evil" are merely misunderstood. Hitler thought by killing Jews, he was ridding the world of demons and such. But..Im not saying he's a hero. Meh. It roots to the bible and Im too lazy to type up the whole big "story" thing. (Not that it justifies what he did)

Edit: And uh...I was looking at some of these posts but...honestly...if you dont know what the hell you're talking about, dont post.

Well... Rememberance Day is to remember people who died, so... I'll remember the boys who died at the Falkland War between Argentina and the UK at 1982... They were only kids sent by those dictators... May they rest in peace.

Razor is right. I've just been looking at this thread and it started as a Canadian holiday I didn't know about that I was learning about from this and a few bad comments to a full-blown debate that pointed fingers at various countries. Everyone has faults, no country is perfect, no country will stay in power for ever. It occurred to me that this is an international forum, and I feel that we really do get along great with any differences we have. So in other words, Razor is right, but not just with America, with anyone who has been pointing out a country's faults.

Slight correction, I thought Rememberance Day was celebrated practically globally. Cause we do it in Australia too.

Oh, well I've never heard of it until now.

@Almeidaboo: I realize she was banned, but she seemed to be sucking other people into the topic anyway...
