This is going to sound really morbid, but -as I'm pose-making impaired- could you tell me if this actually looks like a body? I've gotten kind of mixed reviews from my friends.

Also, do you like my new message box? ^^ It's kinda hard to tell in this SS, since there's detail behind it, but there's ivy and stuff on the message box.


PS: This is the third time I've installed a non-working font patch. I'm getting really pissed.

Well, if you want my font from my game, you can download my game and save the RTP file over yours and that would give you the font and icons from my game.

The message box is ok, but you'll need to change the font color if you're going to use that.

the body looks like a dead... something :p That's for sure. I think something "laying" down is one of the hardest poses to make, so your pose should be fine.

ColdWinterBard: Some of the flowers hurt my eyes, and the Suikoden trees look kinda wierd, but this is a good shot. Can't wait to see it with people.

I say you need to flash it up a bit more dren. Show %s of the status increase/decrease or show pros and cons.

Something similar to the bottom left of this screen is what I mean:

I realyl don't know how else I can spice it up. It may sound stupid, but that's really all there is to class changing in ym game. A class just gives you different skills you can learn, that's all it does. Even now, in my game, there pretty much are no levels, only Class Levels. If you change a class it brings your class level back to 1 but keeps your stats as they were. I'm not sure how that will work out, but we'll find out.

So it's sort of like Deoxys on the diff versions? Each version he grows and learns moves differently, but when he goes to another version his stats stay the same and he just grows the same way huh?

Yes, each character has a specific stat development. Switching classes doesn't affect that, it only gives you a different set of skills. EXCEPTING Tech skills, which you find throughout the game as things called Rudiment Stones but only work for certain characters.

To Bard: I like it. I'd like to see it more as a 320*240 screen though.

To dren: Maybe you should put what kind of skills the characters learn in a little text box or something. Like...

If icon is on "Warrior Class" or something: You see "Uses mainly offensive skills and skills that boost defensive stats."

I think it looks fine, but maybe this will work.

Hm, yeah, right now I have it set so you click on a class and gives you a brief explanation exactly like that. Mainly offensive or mainly defensive, etc. I may do your idea. Just to add a little something.

That overlay won't look good when the player moves.

Overlays like that are generally used for small areas where the screen can't move or for cuts.
