EDIT: BTW, while I'm on the subject. There's no way to make "parallel process" similar event in the DBS, is there? It only runs events, at the most, every time a turn goes by, right?

Sadly, right. Parallels stop at the begining of any DBS battle, and the most constant event you can run in battle is, like you said, at the start of each turn.

alright i just want to see how people like the style of my game. I have had a problem with graphic clashing in the past and want to see if everything looks good. And if the battle sprites and background look good they are my babies

Interesting, I think you should think about adding more trees to the background, it looks kind of blank.

Also, you should work on mapping as a whole. I think the darker grass seems too unaturally random. It's good to have 'random' in nature shots, but it's way too hard to pull off 'natural' in the Refmap/m&b chipsets. It would look better to have the dark grass surrounding the  trees and taking up all the space behind the trees (while also, like Fishy said, more trees) and leaving all the area in the middle blank grass. It may seem unatural and overly bland, but it's the only way with those kind of chipsets. Maybe adding more 'patches' of dark grass and flowers would work, but the way you're taking is either way, not too appealing.

As it stands it looks like he's marching in place. He needs to actually extend and retract his legs.

The main problem is his arm, I reckon. It doesn't swing forward like in the sprite you made months ago. That makes the old sprite actually look more natural.

The sprites good, I'd say keep the first as an idle pose but the new one doesn't seem like it's walking. =\

Not very good, I  know...but that's about the extent of my skills right now; taking from templates and colouring in

And If anyone can explain to me on how to make a good logo for his shirt, I'd be much obliged

The walking is nice. If his arm movements were smoothed out, it'd be just fine.

Still looks like he's dancing. You just lift one foot and have the other standing still on the ground. One need to go forth and the other back if you want a walking effect.
