But I am ready to atone for my mistakes. I believe that a person's past should not restrict their future - if they are truly willing to repay their debt, then they should be given a second chance. No matter how bad their offenses, they can become productive again. And that is what I would bring to the table - compassion.

Why should you elect me? Well, here's a few reasons:

-As a former Charas Moderator, I know the kind of skills it takes to lead a forum. I've been a mod on other forums as well.

-I have many good ideas for the Charas Forums. New forums, better organization, more effective stickied topics - among many other ideas.

-I believe that everyone should be given a second chance. While I'm in term, I will push for a Lockdown forum where only banned members can post. From there, if people want to rejoin the Charas Forums, they can do so.

-Sure, electing Phayre would be "progressive". But do you know what else would be progressive? Electing a handicapped guy! (I don't really consider it a "handicap" on myself, but more to the people around me).

-I've been here far longer than anyone else running. I haven't been active all those years, sure, but I've always been lurking. As such, I care about the well-being of Charas and I want it to flourish.

-If you really want a reason? I'm on Charas all the time. Though I'm not always logged in, I routinely check the forum once before work (at 6 AM), after work (at 3 PM) and generally a couple of times during the evening. I'm here all the time, which can be vital in changing the outcome of an event.



I believe that everyone else would make fine Mayors. But do you want Experience? New Ideas? Compassion? Then Vote for Warxe.
