World of Crystal Flames
World of Crystal Flames is the Brainchild of CrossStrife, created in RPGMaker2k3 with the help of his computer programming classmate Nathan and using Charas project to create the character's sprites. First and Foremost, the game is FAR from ready for even a DEMO. However, work is being done to get it ready for that. Until then, stay tuned for more info.

Basic plot summary: In the land of Altaris there is a secret knowledge of the Order of Crystali that twelve crystal fires, each blazing with magical energy, are located within the world. These crystals serve as an achor for the world of Altaris, for little do the common people know that their world is not really theirs. By the might and magic of the order, all of Altaris was brought to their current world through the creation of the flames, and that should one go out, then the surrounding area would be returned to Altaris's original location, on direct collision course with a black hole. And worse, the barrier of magic, keeping the ancient world that Altaris overlay, would weaken, allowing for the escape of the Order's worst fears, Dragons. The order has kept it's secret for generations, ensuring that NO ONE could know about the crystals. But an unlikely adventure was about to set in motion events that would begin a new era.

Main character summary not yet available, still working on which bio I want to use. Just know for certain that his name is Cross.

Notice: This is an INSANELY rough draft. I've only been working on it for a week at most...
And Cross is a dude. And the Buster Sword was just for kicks, he really just wields standard Broadswords.
And I have no idea what DBS and ABS means...

Don't just do another mundane Fantasy game. Square already made 5 of those. 1 -5, man. Think of some original stuff. And no buster swords! That's instant fail unless you're Jesus or Cloud.

Huh....Odd story you have I give it two stars for originality. *coughFFTAcough* By the way in case you don't know, RTP (The default Chipsets in RPG maker) Are horrid.  Ditch them and go for something better. Also Tall charas are nice.....but work better with other tall charas....-__-;; unless you want to have the default RTP ones be Hobit's or something.

I mean seriously, way to make a guy feel like putting more effort into something by just mindlessly bashing it. I mean I realize putting this up here, I should have anticipated a lot of critisism, but this makes me feel like killing the project now and then offing myself with my dad's black powder rifle.

If you can't take crit's, then just stop making games, you'll get them constantly.
Again, I'd work on the story more to make it a bit more original.
Your mapping is fairly repetitive, I'd try to look up Meiscools mapping tutorials, those would help you a lot.
I personally don't care about graphics, but try looking in Completed Resources.

Look dude, we critisize games, not to put them down (Un;ess they need it), but to help you know what to do. Power of the pepole due. Gotta listin to what they say if you want your project to be cool like AoA, Alpha Force, Carpe Deim or Kyoob.

1. I'll look for the tutorial then.
2. Story is still in the works really, so I'll try not to copy anything.
3. Criticism is one thing. What I've seen isn't criticism. Not by the standards set by my good friends and my regular friends anyway.
4. Never heard of those RPGs, but I bet I will never look them up for pure lack of interest. I won't need to play many more RPGs, not since KotOR and Avalon Code.
5. People are vain, self-centered, selfish, panicky, and stupid in general, and few rise above that status and become enlightened and great. I admit it, I'm damn vain and stupid, so I'm a person. But listening to the wants of all just ruins the one. If you need the consent of others to be happy, then are you really happy?
