So it's not comepletely off topic, how do the cliffs look in this? Do they match enough? I tried to limit everything to Bahamut Lagoon, FF5, and FF6. I admit, the vine and the little wierd flowers were from different places.

Would anyone mind if I used some FF1&2 Dawn of Souls? Those graphics are incredible, yet nobody uses them.

It looks fine to me, but if I suggest changing the saturation of the flowers so that they blend in a little more with the chipset. You might also want to consider reshading them.






Here's a screenshot. Before you go "zomg ur lighting efx r soooo overdone" let me explain.

This scene is supposed to be overly dark (except near the torches). It's because at this moment, Malice is stepping out of the familiar and relative innocence and moving into what Nichi calls "The world of shadows" (ie: the real, violent, heartless, unsure world). The fog and darkness are supposed to constrast with the light of the torches. It's to make the point that the city (or the familiar, and living in ignorance) is often much more inviting than reality. It also makes Malice and Nichi's choice to leave seem much more hard.

Plus, when it's actually in the game (ie bigger) you can see what's going on better.

The floor colors in the middle kind of hurt my eyes.

How exactly is that a screenshot? Or did you take two pics and put them together?

Zerlinas is too tall to be a single screenshot. Pay attention and maybe you'll learn something.

I know it sucks. I need advice on the textbox.

It looks...off. How would you fix it? Should I just get a new font? If so, do you know where I can get some RPM Maker fonts? The only ones I know about are the Shear Destiny ones at Gaming Ground Zero.

And BTW, I've been lazy. Every page of my CMS will look somewhat like my Main Page. It will have that same background each page and stay the same style.

I wanna get it finished. So far, It's done enough so my game is at least playable.

Yeah I took one shot where he was talking, and one shot where he wasn't. Then I just put the dialogue below it so you can see what's going on while still knowing the dialogue.

That map is too empty, and you can see where the square of your border ends as it's gray not black.
