It's a fact that people refuse to realise Charas has degenerated into a dump. It has now literally nothing appealing. Nobody is even taking time to give the generators some quality, the board just sucks ***, a lot of regulars are either leaving or are already gone.

Charas won't be like it used to be, but it won't be any better either. Change should be good, not bad.

I still visit, but I don't really post anymore because of pretty much what you've been saying. I just don't see a point. There aren't really any topics where I have anything to say. Things have just kinda gotten boring I guess. :|

To get charas the way we want it to be, it would dramatic changes, supported by the community as a whole.  If we are separated on the issue, then nothing will change.

You know whats gonna make charas awesome again?

In about a weeks time, when I make a new project thread for Genia, and release a battle and cinematics demo.

Ive been holding back until a demo release is feasable, even if only for battle systems.

But uh, yeah. Be prepared for google/myspace-like hits.
Its gonna be like, off the hook.

i'll try it, that myspace-like hits thing gave me an idea,
is there a charas myspace page? if there was, then we could get people that go on myspace as well.  Just a thought.

You sir, are overreacting.
In another post you claim that everyday you come here, you see another member leaving.
However, after 5 minutes in photoshop, this isn't quite true.

Upon closer inspection, you'll note that for the past 30 days, only three people have left.

Koopapooper: He left but then came back like the day after.
Gamerman: Hey, some people just run out of time, we got to respect that. It's not like he even left because he hates everyone of us.
MrMister: As Sai said, he knew what was coming, but he ended up choosing to leave in a more explosive manner.

I've been here for over three years now, and I've honestly done more watching than participating.  I've seen Charas's ups and downs, but mostly I've seen Charas changing.  When I joined, there were some token members that later left.  I remember GhostClown, Carmen, RPG Lord, Robotam (still around, but don't see much of him), and of course some who are still technically with us; Warxe, SaiKar, FFL, Razor, etc.  (Nobody feel offended if I didn't mention you, I started losing track).

My point is that members are always leaving, that's the way it works.  Lately though it has been a bit less frequent, and when a high poster leaves (or pretends to), people are all like "WOAH!"

We should fulfil more requests, myself included.  I'm apparently a good spriter, but I usually have other stuff I need to do.  Perhaps when 3.0 comes around (or maybe sooner), I'll devote some more time towards Charas.  Post more, make some fusking sprites. :p

Yeah...

Make a game.

Make a System....for a game....put it in a project...and host it.
Call it a demo. Like for an ABS...or CMS. a TEMPLATE project, as it were

Start a mini team.

Make some good templates.

Write a tutorial.

Make some facesets.

Edit some resources, and make them better.

Post links to new resource sites you find.

I agree with RoTD. People leave, and are replaced over time.

One person leaves, I replace him. Another leaves, Archem replaces. Another, ZKX replaces. (due to joining dates, it should be the other way around)

Aside from that, Ghostclown was a powerabusing douche. I don't know why people took it out on Carmen.

And, AFL, if you stay, you'll become (you pretty much already are ;) ) an excellent member and a replacement to someone else who left. It's a cycle.

Charas doesn't need to change. The internet just needs a better sense of humor/sarcasm.
