Have him rotate his whole body forward with each step, so it looks likes he waddles.

RedwallMax: The bottom is better, but it still doesn't seem you did too much to it.

Lucas: The problem is the feet don't get anywhere, they just go up, and down, and up and down. They goin nowhere.

RedwallMax, try to fix up the roofs. It looks like you used the roof tiles wrong.

Lucas, man. That walking looks stranger and stranger with each new one you make. I think you really ought to make it less 3d, and make it so that the feet at least move forward and backward one pixel, like your much older sprite. Everything seems to move waaay too much. I think if you move the tail and the head less, and move the feet forward slightly as they go, it would look much, much better.

Edit:  Oh, and Jesus (or whatever)... It looks... okay.

Sure, but the way it "walk" seems more like his feet are sliding. Well, I mean it would if he was moving.
Human, dinosaur, dog, cat, pigeon, goat (except the smiling goat), etc, should move their feet or legs forward/backward when they walk.

Here's a quick example.

Well, I did some editing to it, and made a sprite sheet.

I would animate it, but the program I use has not been working very well.

...This is what I mean:

Well, If his body wouldn't disappear it'd look fine
If you get gimp and just put each sprite as a layer, then save it as a gif it'd animate just fine also

The final segment of the World Map from Dragon Fantasy II. You can even see the dark castle of doom on there, too.

Woah, that's friggin' huge. Looks good. Hard to see any details. But some places looks very empty, like the desert at the bottom part.

Details, Felix.  There aren't enough.  Needs more salt, rocks, and such.  Two shrubs and a tree are just not that interesting.
